What Will does at JAMUN.
I'm a former Mathletes champion who studied advanced mathematics, which is a roundabout way of saying I spent a chunk of my life inside the kind of program JAMUN now runs. I lead our partnerships work — connecting JAMUN with the schools, donors, and program sponsors that fund the grants and keep the lights on.
Partnerships aren't a separate thing from the mission. They are the mission, in the form of the relationships that make access possible. My job is to find the people and institutions whose goals line up with ours, and to build the kind of trust that makes a long-term commitment make sense.
Every grant we hand out started as a conversation. The conversations are the work.
