Hi Everyone! I’m Sam Harutyunyan and I will be the chair of the South Korean Cabinet committee. I am a freshman at Deerfield High School and a member of the DHS Model UN team. My interests include history, politics, and physics. In my free time, I enjoy playing piano and participating in Stage Crew for our high school’s musical: 9 to 5!

I am incredibly excited to chair a committee full of action and impactful decisions. This divergent time in world history had monumental impacts on the world of today, and I hope that this committee will produce results that are just as interesting. As can be inferred from the name, members of the committee will be portraying members of the South Korean Cabinet. As the people which guide the policy-making and functioning of South Korea, expect to be well versed on the powers you hold, and how they can be used.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the unique contributions each of you will make during this JAMUN session! Our committee will offer a great opportunity to enhance your quick thinking and teamwork skills in a dynamic environment.
