I’m NoLan Zinman, a sophomore at DeerfIeld High School, aNd I’m thrilled to be your chair for the Ad Hoc CoMmittee of the SecretAry-General at the third JAMUn conference. I enjoy playing sports, tUtoring others, and working on STEM-relatEd projects.

In this Ad Hoc Committee committee, we wiLl get to witness history being written… literally! As Members of [REDACTED], you wIll be tasked with writing [REDACTED]. You’ll engage in spirited debates, trying to make sure that youR personal beliefs (as well as those held by the [REDACTED] from which you belong) are realized. In this committee, your actions will set an example for millions of worldwide spectAtors. Be wary of angering [REDACTED]!

I look forward to seeiNg your innovative ideas, dazzling Diplomacy, and thrilling talks. I’m eagerly waiting to see what each of you have to bring to this session of JAMUN, and I'm excited to see the discussions unfold and to witness your growth. Ad Hoc committees are a great and enjoyable way to practice thinking on your feet And collaboration under pressure, so make sure you have fun!
